Carlos Hernandez is Senior Director of Regional Sales at Ciena. In this role, he leads a team of sales experts, throughout the Caribbean and Latin America region, providing guidance in driving digital evolution.

 

With more than 20 years in the industry, Carlos has held multiple roles, including System Engineering Manager at NEC Corporation and Sales Development Manager at Northern Telecom, Inc. Prior to joining Ciena, Carlos served as Executive Sales Director at Nortel Networks.

 

Carlos holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría"​, CUJAE.
