Daniel holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Balseiro Institute (Argentina), awarded in 1997, and a Master's in Nuclear Engineering as well as an MBA in Corporate Finance. With over two decades of experience in the energy and natural gas sectors, Daniel's career includes 12 years at Repsol-YPF, where he played a key role in advancing gas and energy opportunities across Argentina, Chile, and Peru. He was instrumental in managing Repsol’s relationship with Bolivia’s national oil company, contributing significantly to the creation of Bolivia's largest propane distribution company. Additionally, Daniel led pivotal agreements for the export of natural gas and LNG, driving strategic growth and cross-border energy partnerships. Daniel spent 15 years at Excelerate Energy, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. In this capacity, he developed and negotiated critical long-term agreements that were central to the company's financial sustainability. He also oversaw regional operations, managed LNG development initiatives, and built a robust commercial portfolio focused on the sale and leasing of conventional vessels. In May 2024, Daniel joined ESENTIA Energy Systems as Executive Vice President of Commercial Development and Business. ESENTIA is one of Mexico’s leading private companies in natural gas transportation. Daniel’s leadership has been crucial in steering the company towards new strategic ventures that align with Mexico’s evolving energy demands. In November 2024, Daniel was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ESENTIA Energy Systems, where he is now responsible for driving the company's growth and development.
