Pedro Carballeira leads Business Development for Telconet Latam's subsea cable initiatives. Working with Telconet and in his previous roles, he has been directly involved in the conceptualization and development of major submarine cable projects, including the Sam-1, PCCS, and now CSN-1 extensions and the new CSN-2, working to expand strategic routes that link Latin America with the United States and strengthen the region's digital infrastructure.


With over 20 years of experience in international telecommunications, Pedro has held executive roles in companies across Latin America, leading cross-cultural teams throughout the region. He holds an MBA, a degree in Marketing, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), bringing a strong combination of commercial, financial, and operational expertise to the region's telecommunications sector.
